The Results from the 2012 Chili Cook-off

The 15 Contestants

I want to take a minute and thank everyone for attending the chili cook-off at Country Stove Patio and Spa. It was a tremendous success! We raised $1,517 for research for Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy through John Owen’s Adventure, Inc. We estimate that 200 people were in attendance on Saturday to enjoy the festivities

There were 15 chili chefs that competed. The chilies ranged from seasonal pumpkin chili and sweet chili to hot and spicy chili. It was a great range of flavors!

The winners of the event were:
1st Place: Michael Komarek
2nd Place: Mike Margevicius
3rd Place (tie): Brian Duke and Tiffany Ostrolencki and Ronnie Hammer-Huber
